BRAZEN LUNGS (BalconyTV)

br BALCONYTV DUBLIN 14082009 br TODAYS SHOWS IS BROUGHT TO YOU IN ASSOCIATION WITH CONNECTOR.IE br PRESENTED BY TOM MILLETT br Brazen Lungs are a four-piece indie rock band from Dublin, specialising in creative, eclectic and fun songs. The name Brazen Lungs has been in existence since 2004, when Rob Shiels and Paul Martin first recorded music together with the help of now-retired drum machine Doctor Rex (and with guest appearances from flesh-and-blood drummer Alan Weldon). A proper band never transpired from these recording sessions and over the next four years the dream that was Brazen Lungs withered and died Only to be reborn again br br The current incarnation of the band has been in existence since late 2008 when Paul, Alan and Rob got together to record a couple of songs. At a radio interview in January 2009, Brazen Lungs put out a call for a bassist; the interviewer himself answered the call and so DJ James Lindsay joined the club. Now a foursome, the band spent the subsequent spring writing and recording music and slowly but surely preparing their live set. br br The band's long-awaited stage debut came in Eamonn Dorans in May and the summer has seen them play countless gigs. The band are putting the finishing touches to their debut E.P.
