Two years after meeting Blade, Koerner recorded her debut album, Quarter Life, in the summer of 2011 at Blade Studios with Blade acting as producer & mentor. It was released on iTunes in November. br br This Catholic choir girl turned soul singer enjoys wailing the nastiness when asked politely, but it's the rawness of her voice and the honesty in her lyrics that really connects Koerner with listeners. br Koerner says, "Being on stage is where I feel like my most genuine self. Singing is my first language, so it makes sense that I connect with people most intensely while performing.
