International Women’s Day was celebrated last week but this week in Strasbourg European Deputies will vote on two reports on female representation in politics and on the general state of gender equality in the European Union. This is a good opportunity for EP news, the webmagasine totally devoted to what’s going on at the European Parliament, to look at the question of gender equality in Europe. In this 10th edition, EP news will also look at the European reaction to Vladimir Poutin’s reelection as Russian president, the Commission’s campaign for enlargement and the European plan of action to reduce CO2 emissions by 80 by 2050.
