Call of Duty 3 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Call of Duty 3 for the Xbox 360. Released in 2006, this game was developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. This is Treyarch's first crack at making a Call of Duty game, and while it does feature some awesome set-pieces and an above-average story, the core gameplay doesn't feel quite up to par with the rest of the series, including Call of Duty 2.
