br 'Like' us on Facebook - br br BALCONYTV TORONTO IS BROUGHT TO YOU IN ASSOCIATION WITH INDIE WEEK AND THE UNDERGROUND GARAGE br PRESENTED BY NOEL COPEMAN br br br br In 2009, Secret Broadcast recorded their debut LP, Exploding Spiders, with Juno Award winning producer Laurence Currie (Sloan, Wintersleep, Holy F*ck) and went on a cross-Canada tour. The album, which was released independently, quickly climbed the Canadian college and commercial radio charts. It peaked at #40 on the monthly college radio charts, while the first single, Out Of Control, reached #60 on the Canadian AltRock charts. The record also reached #1 on CIUT (Toronto) and The Verge's (XM Satellite Radio) weekly charts. br br In late 2010, Secret Broadcast relocated to Toronto from Calgary, and is now in the process of completing a new record with acclaimed producer, Jon Drew (Tokyo Police Club, Fucked Up, Arkells, Dinosaur Bones). The album is scheduled for release in October 2011.
