The US president has honoured America's veterans, on the same day that he met with his national security team to discuss whether to send more troops to the war in Afghanistan. br br Jonathan Bartlett is one of the soldiers Obama was honouring on Veterans Day. Bartlett wanted to go to Afghanistan after the September 11th attacks.br br Instead he was sent to Iraq - and two months later lost both of his legs in a bomb attack on his army truck.
