Jamie Oliver and Olympic champion track Cyclist Victoria Pendleton joined forces to launch the Samsung Hope Relay - a relay that everyone can take part in - to raise funds for charities including World Food Programme and London-based Kids Company br br Jamie and Victoria unveiled a giant ‘Wall of Hope’ - a structure which houses hundreds of pairs of trainers that participants can put on before completing their mile along a specially laid track. The duo were the first to take a pair of trainers from the wall and complete a mile around the track in front of one of London’s most famous landmarks, City Hall, overlooking the River Thames.
