With the approach of the London Olympics, the issue of doping has resurfaced as Italian rider Filippo Pozzato is alleged to have links with the controversial Dr Michele Ferrari, who faces doping charges brought by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) at the same time as seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong and four other people.
