- Fans of UK thrash metal in the late 80’s and 90’s are likely to recognize the name Sabbat. Thanks to a 2006 mini-tour with Cradle of Filth, many modern music fans are familiar with the band as well. Formed in 1985 from a few members of the thrash band Hydra along with Simon Negus and Andy Sneap, the band saw great critical acclaim with their albums History of a Time to Come and Dreamweaver.
