Low cost air carriers flying high in Asia

The global economic crisis has had at least one winner: discount airlines.br br Many passengers around the world now appear willing to sacrifice luxury for cheaper flights.br br The Asia-Pacific region, in particular, is where low-cost carriers are proving most popular and the number of people flying is increasing at 6.5 per cent a year. The amount they are willing to pay, however, is falling.br br Al Jazeera's Andrew Thomas reports from Sydney, Australia.
