Protesters have been demonstrating for weeks in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli jails.br br But the protests could soon be over. br br The Palestinian minister for prison affairs Issa Karaka has told Al Jazeera that an agreement has been reached in Cairo on a proposal to end the hunger strike.br br Now it's up to the prisoners to agree to the deal.br br Al Jazeera's Caroline Malone reports.
