Syria says that the shooting down of a Turkish fighter jet was an accident but a spokesman of the Syrian government added that the country had a right to defend itself. The Turkish Foreign Ministry is to release a statement on Sunday. Syrian and Turkish navy boats are searching for the two pilots who were in the plane. Al Jazeera's Tarek Bazley reports.
