From conceiving the journey of the album as a whole to choosing the songs and their order, to fine tuning the sound on each track, Roger spent weeks and months in the studio bringing each album to its highest form.br br Supertramp as a band never wrote and composed together, there were only 2 songwriters for the band. The songs Roger sings lead vocals on are the ones he composed the music and lyrics for, and the songs Rick sings lead vocals on are the ones that he wrote.br br Roger Hodgson has been recognized as one of the most gifted composers, songwriters, lyricist of our times. His trademark way of setting beautiful introspective lyrics to upbeat melodies resonated and found its way into the hearts and minds of cultures around the world.
