Pro-government Syrian television station Al-Ikhbariya broadcasts footage of what it says is the aftermath of three bombs in a main square of Aleppo.br br Al-Ikhbariya said the bombs detonated in Saadallah al-Jabari Square in western Aleppo, an area controlled by Syrian government forces.br br State television said many were left dead in what it called "three terrorist explosions", but did not give a number.br br The opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported tens of casualties from the bombs which it said exploded next to a Syrian Officer's Club.br br Fighting only with light weaponry, rebels have resorted to bomb attacks in areas still controlled by forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad.br br Opposition activists say 30,000 people have been killed in the 18-month-old anti-government uprising, which has grown into a full-scale civil war.
