With 12 rape cases in less than a month in Haryana, the Chief Minister's promises to check crimes against women appear hollow. Even the Haryana DGP shot the messenger when he blamed the media for raising a hue and cry. What's worse is the fact that the Haryana Congress chief sees the incidents as part of a larger conspiracy. If only they would get real and go after the perpetrators with the full force of the law.
