President Medvedev has suggested there is still time for Moscow and Washington to reach a compromise over US plans to put anti-missile bases in Eastern Europe. Speaking to Frances Le Figaro newspaper, the Russian leader said he hoped the incoming Obama administration would take a more practical view on the issue.
