Osmocom is an umbrella-project focussed on Free Software development for mobile communications technologies. This includes not only GSM, but also DECT, TETRA, GMR(Thuraya), SDR hardware, SIM card protocol tracing and many other topics. The focus of our work is particularly in the field of the various mobile communications protocol stacks.
