MetaTrader 4 is a more advanced, programmable trading platform intended for use by professional traders.This tutorial will show you how to open your live mt4 account. If you have not already downloaded the MT4 software please watch our video 'Download MetaTrader 4".Before you open your live MT4 account you must make sure you have the appropriate funds in your AGEA account. That is a minimum of $10 for the Cent Account, $100 for the Standard Account and $1,000 for the STP account. There is no minimum deposit for AGEA's platform, Streamster. This tutorial will show you have to open a cent account, but the process is the same for all MT4 accounts.Ok, first go to your account centre, and in the left hand column select "Platforms", then select "MetaTrader" and finally "MT4 Cabinet". You will be redirected to a page which shows all the MT4 accounts you have, I already have one cent account, but I will open another. Click "Add a new account on the MetaTrader Platform"Select which account you want to trade with. I will select cent. And the base currency you would like your account to be in, I will leave it as USD. Click 'Add Account'.The account has been added!You now need to change the password for your MT4 account. So Click "Change the initial account password". Enter your master password, this is the password you use to log into AGEA. Now enter a new password, this can be the same as your master password if you wish. Re-enter this password in the next box. Click 'Change Password".If you ever want to change your password again, go back to the MT4 Cabinet, and click the arrow for the dropdown box for the account you wish to edit. Select "Change Password".Now go to your MT4. MT4 always automatically opens your Demo account, to change to your live account go to File, then select Login. In the pop-up window type in your new account number -- which can be found in your MT4 Cabinet, and then type in your password. This is the password you just set for your MT4 account. Change the Server to AGEA Live, and Click 'Login'. To fund your MT4 account, you need to transfer funds from your default desk. To do this, go to your Account Center and select 'Transfer Funds' -- on the right hand side of your account details. In the from box select dafaultdesk. Unless you have funds in your Streamster or other mt4 account which you wish to transfer, if so select the appropriate account. Then in the 'To' box select your new MT4 account. Enter the amount you want to transfer and in which currency and select 'Transfer'. Review your data on this page and once you are happy click 'Confirm transfer'.Congratulations, now you can start trading live on your MT4 account.Transfers between desks is instant.
