According to a new statistic from WaterAid, an nongovernmental organisation, more than 50 million people are directly bearing the brunt of lack of clean water and sanitation. br br Access to government-provided sanitation has dropped from 37 in 1990 to 31 today in the country causing the spread of diseases and poverty. br br Al Jazeera's Yvonne Ndege reports from Lagos, Nigeria.
