An algorithm developed to correct & protect the parity error through software approach for the safety critical embedded systems. br br This correction and protection algorithm will ensure the continual operation of the safety critical system without any interruption, even the parity error is detected during the runtime. Thus the parity algorithm corrects the parity error as soon as it is detected by the system also it protects the system from SEU (Single Event Upset) and helps to continue the normal operation of the safety critical embedded system.
