The US has agreed to a French request for airlift capacity to help France move its troops and equipment to Mali. The first West African troops have also arrived in the country. They are there under a UN security resolution to help the fight against rebels in the country's north. Al Jazeera's Mohammed Adow reports from the capital Bamako.
