Watch more and discuss:br br Students at KT Murphy Elementary School were joined by Congressman Jim Himes to make Valentines for Veterans. The class wrote messages on paper hearts decorated in red, white, and blue thanking those who serve. br The letters will be sent, along with hundreds of others from Himes' district, to veterans locally and abroad. Valentines will go to the non-profit, Homes for the Brave, in Bridgeport and other service organizations. br Himes says it's about remembering Veterans, no matter what holiday it is. br This is the fourth year the Congressman has held the program.
