Pure Aqua, Inc. designs and manufactures water treatment systems in addition to twin multimedia seawater filtration systems. In May 2011, Pure Aqua designed and manufactured a skid mounted twin multimedia seawater filtration system for a US Navy pilot plant in California. Feed water to the system was from a seawater beach well. The filtration system came complete with manual control valves with v-notch flow control valves for backwash and service, pre & post filter pressure gauges, backwash and service inlet flow meters, vacuum breakers and vent valves.
