There has been another tragedy involving children and guns in the US. In Kentucky a five-year-old boy took a rifle he was given for his birthday and accidentally shot his two-year-old sister dead. The mother said she had just left the house for a moment. Attempts by President Obama to introduce gun control have recently been blocked by Congress.
