Kerry: 'strong evidence' Syria used chemical weapons

Activists say that 25 people were killed when the army shelled a central Syrian town Friday -- with others fleeing for their lives anyway they can.br br The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters comes as debate continues over the use of chemical weapons in Syria.br br U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry weighed in on Friday.br br (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY RESPONDING:br br "There is no question, in my mind, that this fight is about the terrible choices that the Assad regime has made, with its willingness to kill anywhere from 70,000 to 100,000 of its own people.br br Now, to use gas, which we believe there is strong evidence of the use of."br br Previously the US has said it has "varying degrees of confidence" that sarin was been used by Syria's government.
