A tiger is on the prowl in a jungle and some tribal women are also there. Suddenly, the tiger catches one of the women and kills her. Dharmendra shoots and kills the tiger with his rifle. Later, Tribals are celebrating and making merry over the tiger's body. Dharmendra brings the fainted Asha Parekh to his home, who has just met with an accident.

A man named Naresh (Ramesh Rao) is murdered and all the related evidences are tampered at the crime scene, which makes Manager Ajay Singh (Dharmendra) restless. He tries to find out but without evidence, it becomes more difficult to trace the criminal. Police Inspector Rai (Sanjeev Kumar) takes up the case as Ajay informs the police about it. In this journey of finding the murderer of Naresh, Ajay meets a girl named Kiran (Asha Parekh), who becomes a turning point in his life. She is having some important evidence regarding this case but the case takes a mysterious turn.
