Akh Kashni , written by the famous poet Shiv Kumar Batalvi and was originally sung by Surinder Kaur, This folk song highlights the complex relationships that come when a woman is married into a household.
My mother and my Granny used to sing this song for me adding their own unique bits into the lyrics and I have fond memories about the same. This is my rendition of Akh Kashni as I remember it
