Michael J. Codsi, MD joined the Everett Clinic in 2007. He completed his medical degree at the University of Southern California in 1999, before going to Tufts University in Boston to complete his residency in Orthopedic surgery. He then did his shoulder surgery fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic and became a staff surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic for two years. He published several original research articles on rotator cuff repair, biologic implants for rotator cuff repair, and the biomechanics of shoulder joint replacement. He has authored book chapters on arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery, complex reconstruction of the shoulder joint, and physical exam of the shoulder.
