Dr. John Jordan, MD is a practicing OB/GYN (Obstetrics and Gynecology) at The Everett Clinic.

I do all benign gynecologic surgeries. There is a subset of specialists in women's healthcare that devote their attention to cancer, so myself and most of my partners do not practice surgical management of gynecologic cancer. What we do is called benign gynecology.

The most common is hysterectomy, but probably the second most common is a procedure called endometrial ablation, which is a procedure done for menstrual abnormalities, or dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Something called NovaSure® , endometrial ablation, is the second most common surgery that I do.
