We could get a loan for anything a home, cars. Then 5 years ago we had the worst 2 years ever. We lost 4 family members to cancers, with huge medical bills, I lost my job due to the recession, my husband was out of work due to 2 shoulder surgeries from a work injury and we separated and filed for divorce. (we have reconciled). We ultimately had to file for bankruptcy. We have 20 months left on a 60 month agreement with a trustee/attorney. We want to do a loan consolidation we have have been told that our credit score is fine, but since we are still in banruptcy they can not do anything until the day after we have been released from the bankruptcy. Is this true? It there nowhere to get a loan. Thank you -
