Parisian band formed in 1987, confidential and short-lived, in the trail of Babel 17, and having recorded in the B17 studio, between 1990 and 1991, only some rare demos, among 10, known to this day.

Some concerts in Belgium, in Japan and of course in France. M.A.T. played in 1st part of Consolidated, Fugazi, Treponem Pal and Blurt. The very first concert of M.A.T. goes back to June, 1988 in the M.J.C of Nanterre. Then dates were linked during year 1988 with a passage to the Gibus Club in July. Several concerts dates in Japan in August, 1989. Return in the Gibus Club in December, 1989. Mars 1990, they have been on stage to Montrouge with Jad Wio and Züruck Placenta. 1991's and 1992 are marked by a number of dates in Poitiers, Rouen, Paris. To note, a last appearance in Belgium in June, 1992 with the band Stereo Toxic Device.

The group also has a clip to his credit, called: "Chernobyl".

Fabrice Charlot (alias Fab) and Bruno Weiss (alias Tcherno) created then, in 1997, the band Recycler in Paris.

To note that before Recycling, Moving Audio Target ( M.A.T.) Bruno Weiss's third musical project in association with Jean Michel Danovaro.

M.A.T. (Maladie Auditivement Transmissible) means Auditorily Contagious Disease.

Quelques concerts en Belgique, au Japon et bien sûr en France. M.A.T. a joué en 1ère partie de Consolidated, Fugazi, Treponem Pal et Blurt. Le tout premier concert de M.A.T. remonte à juin 1988 à la M.J.C de Nanterre. Puis les dates se sont enchaînées durant l'année 1988 avec un passage au Gibus en juillet. Plusieurs dates de concerts au Japon en août 1989. Retour au Gibus Club en décembre 1989. Mars 1990, un passage à Montrouge avec Jad Wio et Züruck Placenta. Les années 1991 et 1992 sont marquées par un certain nombre de dates à Poitiers, Rouen, Paris. A noter, une dernière apparition en Belgique en juin 1992 avec le groupe Stereo Toxic Device.

Le groupe a aussi un clip à son actif, appelé : "Tchernobyl".

Fabrice Charlot (alias Fab) et Bruno Weiss (alias Tcherno) ont fondé ensuite, en 1997, le groupe Recycler à Paris.

A noter qu'avant Recycler, Moving Audio Target (M.A.T.) est un troisième projet musical de Bruno Weiss en collaboration avec Jean Michel Danovaro.
