To me, someone who is sensual is one who is fully alive and ignites a fire, a strong passion in others. When you are fully aware of your own body, all of your senses and understand how it impacts the world, you are truly and infinitely powerful.

Join me on my sensual journey as I try to understand how to master the art of sensuality by interviewing and collabing with some of the greats. sensuality to me means someone or something filled with pure passion, people who make love and a pleasing experience to body

Sensuality means to be completely in touch with who you are as a woman. It is the ideal of femininity, the end of the spectrum that one seeks to feel at one with herself completely. Sensuality focuses on the intangibles of a woman, where sexuality focuses on her physical abilities.

It interesting how we view the word today, because growing up in a conservative environment, being 'sensual' would have a negative undertone - typically someone with a one-tracked mind, steered towards 'only' the physical pleasures of life. Today, our society is a lot more open and understanding of how sex is part of who we are. I'd say being sensual person is still a relative notion, though. Some may think sensuality is a state of mind (thinking and acting in a hyper sexualized manner) or a physical presence (dressing and carrying ones-self in a lascivious manner; having sex appeal). Overall, I'd say it's someone who is sexy, doesn't have to try hard to be sexy, and has a natural sexual presence.

I had to actually look up the definition to have a good frame of reference for the collective perspective.

From my personal perspective, sensuality is not apparent and relies much on a spiritual energy, contrary to Google's definition. I consider sensuality and physical intimacy sacred.

Sensuality, to me, is an unabashed vulnerability where pleasure comes from the sharing of the inner most parts of our emotional being. It's an expression that requires a complete release of ego and a total surrender to the worship of another being. It is the energy that enable two souls to connect through their physical temples.

Since I don't keep up much with celebrities, I don't have an answer for the second question, as far as a person is concerned. But I will say that any celebrity that is confident and collected, of clear mind and humble, discreet and prudent, would strike me as the kind of person capable of what sensuality means to me.
