I want to talk about something I’ve seen pop up a few times over the last couple of years when I’ve joined different MLM companies. And that is, when you’re going out to sponsor, how do you answer the question, when prospects ask, ‘Well, how much money do you make?’

There are a couple of different ways to answer this. I’ve heard some of the top marketers say, which I agree with, you’re not going to use numbers. You can just say, ‘Well, I’m just starting. However, people in my upline and other members I know who have been in this business for a while, are making a decent income. And some have even left their full-time jobs to do this business full time.’

So, that’s one way to generally answer the question.

And the reason why you want to take that stance, why you would want to reply to them that way is because you can never make a guarantee that they’re going to do what other people are doing, or even that you’re going to do what other people are doing.

You see these people who are advertising their business opportunities as, ‘You can make $1000 in X amount of time,’ and ‘You CAN and it’s guaranteed,’ etc.

Nobody can guarantee that the way one individual is going to market their business is going to be exactly the same way another individual is going to market their business.

What you earn is going to be based on what you put into your business.
