The first look of upcoming Ranveer Singh-Sonakshi Sinha starring period love story 'Lootera' was unveiled recently.
The poster shows a clean-shaven Ranveer Singh sitting inside a vintage car and holding Sonakshi to his chest with a romantic pose. Produced by Balaji and Phantom Productions, 'Lootera' is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane of 'Udaan' fame.
The film is set in 1950s Kolkata and Sonakshi will be seen playing the role of a Bengali woman in the film. 'Lootera', which is slated to release on July 5, is said to be adapted from an O.Henry short story named 'The Last Leaf'.
