Project Cars Career Mode Gameplay.

This is the first round of the career invitational Supercar US Clubsport Trophy series at the Road America Circuit, a one make series featuring the RUF (Porsche) CTR3. (It's some time since I raced at road America and the last time out was in a stock car so I had to recalibrate my senses somewhat for the very powerful and flighty CTR3 RUF).

The format is a six lap race with both a practice and qualifying session beforehand. Qualifying went well and I placed second on the grid with a lap of around 2m 12.360s and it looked as though it was going to be a close and difficult race. Once again however, the race speeds were some way off the qualifying times with the AI at 80% and despite a few mistakes I was able to run at a pretty comfortable pace.

The CTR3 is a real driver's car and can be a bit of a handful without careful setup and it requires a deft hand to drive quickly. Once you find your sweet spot with the car though it really is a lot of fun to drive.
