The first of the five Usul Al-Deen (Fundamentals of Religion) in Shia Islam, the belief of Tawheed (monotheism) that Shia Muslims hold, is one that we believe has been unjustly portrayed online, by both the lack of effort from the Shia, as well as the propaganda spread by the opposers of the Ahlul-Bayt.
All one would need to do to truly understand Shia Islam's belief in the Oneness of Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He) is read the words of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), and the Imams of Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them) in this regard.
Read Nahjul-Balagha (the Peak of Eloquence) of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). Read the supplications taught by the Ahlul-Bayt, that the Shia have been gifted with. Read Dua Jawshan Al-Kabir, Dua Jawshan Al-Saghir, Dua Arafah of Imam Al-Hussain, the supplications of the holy month of Ramadan, Dua Abu Hamza Al-Thumali, Dua Iftitah, Dua Sabah, which the Shia recite every morning, Dua Kumayl, which the Shia recite every Thursday night, and so on and so forth.
Truly, by neglecting the Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them), those who call themselves "Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jama'ah" are missing out on the beautiful heritage of the Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them), who taught us how to correctly supplicate to, and worship Almighty Allah (Glorious and Exalted is He).
