Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (English: This Heart is Complicated) is a 2016 Indian romantic drama film written and directed by Karan Johar. It features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. It was released on 28 October 2016 on the Diwali weekend.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the film's soundtrack was released on 26 October 2016,[47] by Sony Music India. Pritam composed the songs featured in the Soundtrack while the lyrics were provided by Amitabh Bhattacharya.[48][49] The film had five initial promotional singles released from the soundtrack. Audio Jukebox was released at YouTube on 2 November 2016.[50] The reprised versions of songs "Bulleya" and "Channa Mereya" by Arijit Singh and "Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo" by Shilpa Rao, were made available in the deluxe edition of the album which was released separately[51] but not added in soundtrack album. However, latter of these was also featured in the film.

Pritam received the Best Music Director distinction at the 62nd Filmfare Awards, while Arijit Singh won the "Best Playback Singer (Male) Award" for the title song of the film. Amitabh Bhattacharya won Best Lyricist" Award for "Channa Mereya".[52]
