In this video, Ill show you how to install a dark theme for Windows 10 that makes the old Windows applications like File Explorer dark and sleek! If you prefer a text version, look no further.\r
\r
First, youll want to download all of the software/themes at the bottom of the page in the resources section, then we can move on to installing it.\r
\r
The first piece of software that youll want to install first is the UltraUxThemePatcher. Just keep clicking next, but do be warned. There is a slight potential that it could mess up your install of Windows 10. Just saying.\r

After that has finished, extr the OldNewExplorer zip file and run the EXE. Click install at the top of the window and select Use command bar instead of Ribbon and Hind Up button. Click close when youre done.\r

Now for the theme its self. Extr the themes zip folder and open it up once extred. You will be presented with two folders, one for the older versions of Windows 10 and one for the Anniversary Update or newer versions of Windows 10. Select the best one that corrosponds with your system and continue inside that folder.\r

Select everything inside the folder you chose (Theme files AND folders) and copy them to the clipboard.\r

Navigate to C:WindowsResourcesThemes and paste those contents right in there.\r
\r
Lastly, double click on each theme to install it on your machine.\r
\r
(Optional) Find the font folder in the extred theme folder and install all of them. It applies the font to certain parts of Windows once the theme is enabled, and it looks pretty nice.\r
