I stayed at Nature View hotel on Soi Buakhao, 1000 baht a night and a good location. More info on this hotel soon.\r
\r
I sampled some more English Breakfasts (on different days again) on my quest to find the best in Pattaya. \r
\r
Canterbury tales (125 baht) was good overall, but not as good as I expected. There is no aircon there and it was very hot in the cafe part, this is offset by the nice view of the massage girls across the street.\r
\r
If you are going to get an oil massage here its probably best to negotiate a price for the additional services required before going in. If you are naked, horny and covered in oil its not as easy to negotiate ;)\r
\r
I-Rovers breakfast at 129 baht was good too (I substituted the black pudding for tomato on this day). Nice aircon inside, with widescreen TVs showing sport and friendly service girls. The sausages were great and the eggs outstanding on this breakfast. \r
\r
Comparing both breakfasts overall they were both good and I would rank them as a dead heat. Both only came with one regular slice of toast though which was annoying. I would still rank Jollys above these 2 places. \r
\r
Soi 6 for some daytime drinking\r
\r
The first part was from the Jack Tar bar, a popular place for expats and tourists and sometimes it can be hard to get a prime people watching seat. \r
\r
It will be interesting to see how Scooters bar does on Soi 6. I hope it isnt the start of an influx of lots of non short- time regular bars, that would make make the street totally lose its distinctive charer. \r
\r
Hooters, Pattaya\r
\r
This place opened in Jan 2016 and has by all accounts been a roaring success towards the end of the high season. Visitors to Pattaya often dont mind paying a bit more for food and drinks as it is a safe haven from all the girly bars and the eye candy inside is a bonus.\r
\r
The bar is huge inside, and as now we are in the low season the crowds have thinned considerably. On this night when I visited there were only a handful of customers. This suggests that Hooters is possibly more of a tourist bar and has yet to become a local expat favourite. \r
\r
Tahitian Queen gogo bar.\r
\r
I wanted to check out this gogo bar due to a Subscriber request. It is a rock n roll themed gogo bar that opened way back in 1978.\r
\r
Inside it was pretty dark but I was surprised to see even early evening it was nearly full already. I didnt stop for a drink as I was limited for time but will revisit in the near future.\r
\r
\r
Thank you for watching and view in HD for better quality.\r
