Im currently addicted to A Link Between Worlds and love the Maiamai sidequest! Those are the cutest things to collect since Majoras Mask fairies. So I decided to make a resin clay tutorial on how to make real mini Maiamai with Swarovski crystals! I used Modena clay which has a great texture but dries extremely quickly. This project will be easier if you use a slower drying or heat-hardening polymer clay. Another tip I forgot to mention in the video is that Modena dries semi-translucent, but you can easily make it opaque by adding some titanium white acrylic paint when mixing colours.\r

I discovered the technique of rolling in Swarovski crystal stardust when making jewellery for Maqaroon. You can see some of the pieces here: Obviously for gold jewellery I use a special transparent resin epoxy glue, not Modge Podge :P. Unfortunately I cant seem to find any place online that sells Crystal Stardust. I simply get mine from the Swarovski shop in Vienna where I live. If anyone is really interested in having some, message me and maybe I can drop ship a few boxes. I would definitely be up for a trade if youre in Japan and can send Daiso craft things :D! \r

The tools I used are ually old dental instruments. I got them for free from my boyfriends dad cause he was going to throw them out anyway. Try asking your dentist if they have any old tools lying around, or you can order new instruments new online. \r

I decided not to use music or talking in any of my videos because of the ASMR effect (autonomous sensory meridian response). I find Youtube tutorials with only ambient noise like crinkling, scratching or tapping more relaxing to watch. So hope you enjoy the videos, cuteness and soothing sounds that go along with them :)
