In Aurangabad, an effigy of Ravana was burnt during Dussehra festival celebrations. The Ravan Dahan programme organised by Uttar Bhartiya Sangh in the city at CIDCO N-7 on the Ramlila ground on Thursday. In Nagpur, The Sanatan Dharam Yuvak Sabha will stage Ravan Dahan at Kasturchand Park (KP) ground on October 18 at 5 pm. Various cultural activities will be held before the burning of the effigies of the demon king and his son Meghnad and brother Kumbhkaran. Addressing the media on Tuesday, Vijay Kher, who heads the Dussehra committee of the organization gave details of the programme.
