Conor McGregor (born 14 July 1988) is an Irish professional mixed martial artist and boxer. He is the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight and lightweight champion. He has also competed as a welterweight in mixed martial arts (MMA), and light middleweight in boxing. As of October 8, 2018, he is #8 in the UFC's pound for pound rankings.

Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov (born September 20, 1988) is a Russian professional mixed martial artist of Avar ethnicity. Nurmagomedov is a two-time Combat Sambo World Champion and the reigning undisputed UFC Lightweight Champion. He currently holds the longest undefeated streak in MMA, with 27 wins, and remains undefeated in professional MMA. Hailing from Russia's Dagestan region, he is the first Russian to win a UFC title. As of October 8, 2018, he is ranked #2 in the official UFC pound-for-pound rankings.
