As good as this music feels and while I’m now living my truth it shakes me to my core to know that it is still a struggle for youth to find and express their selves without the negative judgement of others. I know life is not a cake walk but it can be a lot better with the help, love , and support of others around you. A hug relieves stress, a “Hello” brings a smile and a smile lights up the world. It’s the easiest thing; to give love, it’s in our nature so let’s challenge ourselves to do so. It makes no since why Nigel Shelby felt like he would be better off dead than alive in today’s world. That was my struggle because I lived in a world that was uninformed and afraid but we have made leaps and bounds as a generation with social media, pride, and at one point the government. What the fuck is going on? Are we all so desensitized to one another to know that we’re not like Siri, we have feelings and long for interaction and acceptance? People get your head out of your asses and realize we are each other responsibility and we can only make it as a collective. “Hate is learned behavior” reverse it in yourselves and towards your selves so you won’t infect the youth with this disease. Uplift one another, be kind to each other and yourself. Unlearn all the bullshit you were conditioned to recycle so we can start living for a better tomorrow.
