Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng revealed on Twitter Tuesday that US ambassador to Malaysia Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir has assured the ministry that assets seized from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) will be returned to Malaysia as soon as possible.
Lim said that after a meeting with Kamala where they discussed American investments and companies in Malaysia.
