Bear wanders around Siberian city after hotel breakout

A Russian meme became real when a brown bear was walking down the street, giving passersby the fright of a lifetime.
The bear was tranquillised and caught by local police.
It woke up in a shelter and is currently looked after by volunteers.
Nobody was harmed.
Turns out, the bear had escaped from a local, who kept the wild animal in an enclosure at one of nearby hotels.
