Education ministry to look into early retirement among teachers issue, says Radzi

Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin on Monday (April 25) said his ministry will look into the issue as to why so many teachers have decided to go on optional retirement when they can still contribute.
He was responding to a claim by the National Union of the Teaching Profession (NUTP) that in recent years, some 10,000 teachers have applied annually for early retirement.
