Additional notes:\r
\r
The Sportsman vs Cafe Pitini Full English Breakfasts\r
\r
The Sportsman won this one by a mile, good high quality ingredients and a fantastic breakfast only let down by the higher than average price. The carvery looked nice too and was popular, the cost being 425 baht. \r
\r
The glossy magazine I was flicking through was by afterdarkasia and I really like the colours in the photos. As far as I know they are still putting out magazines but have stopped making videos. \r
\r
Cafe Pitini is popular with local expats and serves Thai / Western food.\r
My breakfast was very average overall and I probably wouldnt order it again. I left without finishing my plate and I left hungry.\r
It is worth noting that they do excellent Western daily specials from around 149 baht which are popular and considered very good value.\r
\r
Jollys on Soi Buakhao is still my number one choice for a Full English Breakfast in Pattaya, and costs 155 baht. \r
\r
Soi Buakhao Walk Around\r
\r
July 2016 is the low low season, and a lot of building work and improvements were taking place when I was there.\r
\r
Opey De Place\r
\r
This hotel is cheap and in a great location. Recently I tried booking a room last minute but it was totally full up - a good sign for any hotel in the low season! \r
\r
If you fancy booking a room at Opey De Place then check here for booking tips: \r
\r
Soi Lengkee / Soi Buakhao / Soi Diana intersection from HELL!\r
\r
This part of Pattaya is IMO the worst for people walking by. When it is busy motorbikes weave and zoom by at speed, baht buses stop creating bottlenecks, and cars skim by pedestrians with no sidewalk on offer.\r
\r
Be extra careful here when crossing the road as accidents must happen here on a daily basis as this crossroads resembles a game of chicken sometimes.\r
\r
Soi Chaiyapoon and Soi Honey are the dirty massage streets in this area. I stopped by Soi Honey this time and was more than happy with my chosen masseuse.\r
\r
Massages are a 200 baht flat rate, with extras being around 500 baht for a happy ending and 1000 baht for full service ;) You can skip the massage and go straight for the extras if you prefer. \r
\r
Make sure you specify which girl you want in the massage, as if you dont then you will get whoever is next in line. \r
\r
Mototaxi ride to Soi 8 Beach Road\r
\r
This ride cost 40 baht, and cut through the New Plaza bar area. These bars are more laid back and generally have older girls working.\r
\r
