[الحديث الثاني عشر]

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "من حسن إسلام المرء تركة ما لا يعنيه" حديث حسن رواه الترمذي وغيره هكذا.

المفردات:

من: تبعيضية أو بيانية، المرء: الشخص، ما لا يعنيه: ما لا يهمه من أمور الدين والدنيا، من حسن: الحسن ضد القبيح.

الفوائد:

(1) إن على المسلم أن يدع ما لا يعنيه من الفضول سواء قولا أو فعلا أو تفكيرا.

(2) على الإنسان الاشتغال بما يعنيه فيما فيه مصلحة له في دينه أو دنياه.

(3) إن المشتغل بما لا يعنيه ناقص الإيمان.

الموجز:

يفيدنا هذا الحديث أن من لم يترك ما لا يعنيه فإنه ضعيف إيمانه وإن من كمال إيمان العبد تركه ما لا يهمه من الأقوال والأفعال التي ليست من مصالحه وشئونه فعلى الإنسان أن يهتم بالأمور التي تتعلق بحياته وأسباب معيشته وسعادته في معاده، وذلك يسير لمن يسره الله عليه ووفقه فإذا اقتصر الإنسان على ما يعنيه سلم من تبعات ما لا يعنيه. وفي السلامة خير كثير.
[Twelfth Hadith]

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “From the goodness of a person’s Islam is to leave what does not concern him.” A good hadith narrated by al-Tirmidhi and others like this.

Vocabulary:

From: subjunctive or figurative, one: the person, what does not concern him: what he does not care about religious and worldly matters, from good: good versus ugly.

the benefits:

(1) The Muslim should leave what does not concern him of curiosity, whether in word, deed, or thinking.

(2) A person should be busy with what concerns him in what is in his interest in his religion or worldly affairs.

(3) The one who engages in what does not concern him is deficient in faith.

Summary:

This hadith informs us that whoever does not leave what does not concern him, then his faith is weak, and that from the perfection of a servant’s faith is his leaving what he does not care about words and actions that are not from his interests and affairs. And if a person is limited to what concerns him, he is safe from the consequences of what does not concern him. And in safety, much good.
