Majority of Young Workers Unlikely to Live in States Banning Abortion

A CNBC/Generation Lab survey found that nearly two-thirds of young workers aged 18-34 would probably or definitely not live in a state banning abortion. Less than half said they would probably or definitely reject a job offer in a state where abortion is illegal. The findings suggest state bans could profoundly impact where young workers live and which companies they work for. Over 20 states have banned or restricted abortion since the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision in June 2022.
